With a bigger and bigger focus put on people going to college, university, and doing well at school, there is also a large focus on eating the right food, keeping healthy, getting the right food for brains, or the popular phrase being brain food. This large focus is put onto the right foods, since there’s been many studies and people doing research into how some foods can affect your brain power and can also boost it. With this, people that eat more of specific foods may do better in exams, etc.

Some of the foods for brains include oily fish, wholegrain food, and blueberries. On the whole though, it’s encouraged for everybody to have a balanced diet, to eat healthily, with lots of fish, fruit and vegetables. From those foods, it’s the nutrients and the vitamins inside them that help people’s brains, such as the omega-3 fatty acids in the fish, to help keep your nervous system healthy for people’s bodies. Along with that, scientists have been researching about the effect on blueberries on people’s bodies and it’s been proven that it can improve people’s short term memory, crucial, if people do last minute revision for exams.

Then, in wholegrain, there are many vitamins for the food for brains. These include the vitamins B12, and B6, as well as folic acid. All of those help people recall their memory, and can be found in foods like cereals, pasta and wheatbran. The fact that it can be found in cereals may also be a reason for not skipping breakfast in the morning. Eating breakfast is one of the most important things to do in the day, since even though many people may skip it to lose weight, it’s been proven that it’s better for their brains and bodies, since their body expects breakfast, and regular meals in the day.

Overall everybody needs to have food for brains. It helps them succeed throughout the day, and having regular meals and food for brains, including things like oily fish, and others helps the brain over the course of the day, including your memory and more aspects of the body to help everybody succeed at their jobs or at school for example.
